Be Well Respiratory Bus, Clacton

Board the Be Well Respiratory Bus to speak to healthcare professionals and local support groups on how to stay well this winter.

Services and information provided on the bus

Staff aboard the Be Well Bus are ready to listen to any concerns you may have, and are able to provide advice and signposting on a wide range of topics covering health and wellbeing. However, specialists will be on-hand to offer particular support in the below areas.

People/services that will be on the Bus include:

• SiSU health check machine
• Specialist respiratory nurses
• Midwife who specialises in reducing smoking in pregnancy

They will be able to provide help and advice on the following topics:

• Height and weight measurements and body mass index (BMI) calculation
• Blood pressure and heart rate check
• Smoking cessation
• Managing long-term respiratory conditions
• Staying well during the colder months

Where the Bus will be

On Wednesday 9 October the Bus will be in the following locations:

• 10am to 11.30am: Clacton Leisure Centre, Vista Road, CO15 6DB
• 12.20am to 2pm: Christmas Tree Island (Clacton Town Centre)
• 3pm to 4.30pm: Jaywick Sunspot Café, Jaywick Sands, Brooklands, Clacton, CO15 2JG
