The Be Well Bus will be journeying to Ipswich to offer support and advice to those who need help with their health and wellbeing.

There is no need to make an appointment, simply turn up and our friendly and knowledgeable crew will assist you.

Services and information provided on the bus

Staff aboard the Be Well Bus are ready to listen to any concerns you may have, and are able to provide advice and signposting on a wide range of topics covering health and wellbeing. However, specialists will be on-hand to offer particular support in the below areas.

• SiSU health check
• East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust (Colchester and Ipswich Hospitals)

They will be able to provide help and advice on the following topics:

• Height and weight measurements and body mass index (BMI) calculation
• Blood pressure and heart rate check
• Breast, bowel and cervical screening
• Prostate cancer
• Viral hepatitis
• Learning disabilities and autism
• Stopping smoking, including during pregnancy
• MMR vaccinations for under 18s
• Whooping cough and RSV vaccinations for pregnant women
• Alcohol awareness
