Be Well Bus at the University of Suffolk Mouth Cancer Awareness Day

The Be Well Bus will be journeying to the University of Suffolk as part of its mouth cancer awareness event to offer support and advice to those who need help with their health and wellbeing.

There is no need to make an appointment, simply turn up and our friendly and knowledgeable crew will assist you.

Services and information provided on the bus

Staff aboard the Be Well Bus are ready to listen to any concerns you may have, and are able to provide advice and signposting on a wide range of topics covering health and wellbeing. However, specialists will be on-hand to offer particular support in the below areas.

As well as mouth cancer screening and prevention advice, provided by the University of Suffolk Dental CIC, organisations/services that will be on the Bus include:

• SiSU health check
• Wellbeing Suffolk
• Feel Good Suffolk

They will be able to provide help and advice on the following topics:

• Height and weight measurements and body mass index (BMI) calculation
• Blood pressure and heart rate check
• Mental health
• Smoking cessation and active and healthy lifestyles
