Be Well Bus, Framlingham and Aldeburgh

The Be Well Bus will be journeying to Framlingham and Aldeburgh to offer support and advice to those who need help with their health and wellbeing.

There is no need to make an appointment, simply turn up and our friendly and knowledgeable crew will assist you.

Services and information provided on the bus

Staff aboard the Be Well Bus are ready to listen to any concerns you may have, and are able to provide advice and signposting on a wide range of topics covering health and wellbeing. However, specialists will be on-hand to offer particular support in the below areas.

Wednesday 17 July

The Bus will be open 10am-2.30pm and located on Market Hill, Framlingham, IP13 9AN.

Organisations/services that will be on the Bus include:

  • SiSU self-service health check machine
  • East Suffolk Council Financial Inclusion Team
  • Suffolk Coastal CAP Debt Centre
  • Citizens Advice
  • Suffolk Police
  • Multiply Suffolk

They will be able to provide help and advice on the following topics:

  • Height and weight measurements and Body Mass Index (BMI) calculation
  • Blood pressure and heart rate check
  • Financial support and advice
  • Councillor surgery
  • General community support and advice
  • Community safety
  • Adult learning

Thursday 18 July

The Bus will be open 10am-2.30pm and located at Coop car park, 8 Saxmundham Road, Aldeburgh, IP15 5JD

Organisations/services that will be on the Bus include:

  • SiSU self-service health check machine
  • East Suffolk Council
  • ACE Anglia

They will be able to provide help and advice on the following topics:

  • Height and weight measurements and Body Mass Index (BMI) calculation
  • Blood pressure and heart rate check
  • Strength and balance exercises
  • Support for people with learning disabilities and autism, and their families
