The Be Well Bus will be journeying to the Sax Fest community event in Saxmundham to offer support and advice to those who need help with their health and wellbeing.

There is no need to make an appointment, simply turn up and our friendly and knowledgeable crew will assist you.

Services and information provided on the bus

Staff aboard the Be Well Bus are ready to listen to any concerns you may have, and are able to provide advice and signposting on a wide range of topics covering health and wellbeing. However, specialists will be on-hand to offer particular support in the below areas.

The Bus will be open 12pm to 6pm.

Organisations/services that will be on the Bus include:

  • SiSU self-service health check machine
  • Suffolk Wellbeing (Friday 9 August only)
  • Brave Futures
  • East Suffolk Council (Multiply Suffolk)

They will be able to provide help and advice on the following topics:

  • Height and weight measurements and body mass index (BMI) calculation
  • Blood pressure and heart rate check
  • Mental health support (Friday 9 August only)
  • Support for children and young people who have experienced sexual abuse
  • Adult learning services
