The Be Well Bus will be journeying to Saxmundham and Aldeburgh to offer support and advice to those who need help with their health and wellbeing.

There is no need to make an appointment, simply turn up and our friendly and knowledgeable crew will assist you.

Services and information provided on the bus

Staff aboard the Be Well Bus are ready to listen to any concerns you may have, and are able to provide advice and signposting on a wide range of topics covering health and wellbeing. However, specialists will be on-hand to offer particular support in the below areas.

Thursday 9 May

The Bus will be open 10am-3pm and located in the Tesco Superstore car park, 1 Church St, Saxmundham IP17 1EP.

Organisations that will be on the Bus include:

  • Compassionate Companions
  • Wellbeing Suffolk
  • Cancer Support Suffolk
  • ReSPECT team

They will be able to provide help and advice on the following topics:

  • Compassionate conversations
  • Mental health support and counselling
  • Cancer support
  • ReSPECT conversations

Friday 10 May

The Bus will be open 10am-3pm and located at the Coop car park, 8 Saxmundham Road, Aldeburgh, IP15 5JD.

Organisations that will be on the Bus include:

  • Butterfly volunteers (Ipswich Hospital)
  • NHS (discussing the importance of planning)
  • Marie Curie
  • Compassionate Companions

They will be able to provide help and advice on the following topics:

  • End of life support
  • Bereavement
  • Compassionate conversations
