Be Well Bus, Wickham Market and Rendlesham

The Be Well Bus will be journeying to Wickham Market and Rendlesham to offer support and advice to those who need help with their health and wellbeing.

There is no need to make an appointment, simply turn up and our friendly and knowledgeable crew will assist you.

Services and information provided on the bus

Staff aboard the Be Well Bus are ready to listen to any concerns you may have, and are able to provide advice and signposting on a wide range of topics covering health and wellbeing. However, specialists will be on-hand to offer particular support in the below areas.

Wednesday 10 July

The Bus will be open 10am-3pm and located at 60 High St, Wickham Market, Woodbridge IP13 0QU.

Organisations that will be on the Bus include:

  • Alzheimer’s Society
  • CAP Life Skills
  • Community Enterprise Catalyst (until 1pm)
  • East Suffolk Council (until 1pm)

They will be able to provide help and advice on the following topics:

  • Dementia support
  • Low income support
  • Support for people who are housebound or approaching the end of their lives
  • Councillor surgery

Thursday 11 July

The Bus will be open 10am-1.30pm and located at Rendlesham Community Centre, Walnut Tree Avenue, Rendlesham, Woodbridge IP12 2GG.

On Thursday, the Bus will be equipped with a SiSU health check machine. You are welcome to use the machine to get:

  • height and weight measurements and Body Mass Index (BMI) calculation
  • a blood pressure and heart rate check
