Views sought on GP practice’s plans to close Hollesley Village Hall weekly surgery

Posted on in Ipswich and East Suffolk News

Patients within the east Suffolk village of Hollesley and surrounding areas are being asked for their views on a proposal to close a satellite practice service, held once a week, in the village hall.

The Peninsula Practice Group, which runs the service each Monday, has started an engagement exercise to seek views on the proposal.

Senior Partner Dr Lindsey Crockett said: “While the village hall is a highly valued local facility, it is proving to be too costly and not fit for delivering primary health care services in a modern era.

“We want to find out from local people how this proposal would impact them, and we are genuinely keen to hear views and ideas.”

Local people are invited to share their feedback on the proposal via email – sneeicb-ies.peninsula-practice@nhs.net or write to the practice by letter.

They are also invited to leave their comments at the weekly surgery in Hollesley.
