Janet Wood

Janet is a chartered accountant, qualifying with Deloitte Edinburgh.  Janet had an extensive career in NHS Finance working for Redbridge Healthcare, South Essex Health Authority and the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA).   Janet has held several Non Executive Director positions in the last 20 years primarily as Audit Committee Chair.  Janet was the interim chair of the newly merged Essex Partnership Trust (EPUT) and has been the EPUT Non Executive Director representative in the Suffolk and North East Essex system since 2017.

Janet is also volunteers in school governance.  She is a member of an Academy Trust with schools across Essex, Chair of a Secondary School and a committee member of the Essex School Governors Association.
