Make sure you have enough prescription medicine to last over the holiday period
Your GP surgery is likely to be closed on bank holidays so if you use prescription medicine, it is important that you order any repeat prescriptions you might need. Most GP surgeries need at least 48 hours to process a repeat prescription request so a little planning ahead could save you a lot of hassle. If you are going away for the weekend – don’t forget to take your prescription medicine with you.
